Hello! I’m Louise Dolfing, owner and principal designer at interior design studio, Dolfing Design. My love of interior design started at a young age. I grew up in Australia with a mother who was a fabulous home maker, having repeated the experience at least 15 times as far as I can count. Over the years, I’ve also had the chance to renovate and design a few homes of my own.

I'm inspired by the world around me and inspiration can come from just about anything I see, hear or feel. But more importantly, I take inspiration from my clients, getting to know them and then crafting a space for them that is uniquely theirs. Since graduating Cum Laude from Perk Interieuropleidingen I have helped clients transform their spaces into beautiful and functional homes or businesses.

My Approach  

 

One of the things I love about designing is getting to know the clients I’m designing for. Working with me isn’t about what I like. It’s about you and your thoughts and design aspirations. You may not yet have a clear idea (or even any idea at all!) about what these are, but I will help you to draw these out. My role is to take your personality and energy and inject that into the design. Your home or business space should be a reflection of you and what you love.

Because of this approach, there is no one singular style that I apply. The common thread weaving its way through my designs is that they are beautiful and comfortable, yet practical. A well-designed space sparks emotion. My goal is to design a space that captures your unique style and personality so that you can experience the joy of living in a space designed just for you.
